Case Study
Interlink
TalentStack partnered with Interlink to scale its GTM team, delivering six hires across sales leadership, RevOps, Account Executive and Client Partner roles. What started as individual searches evolved into an ongoing partnership across the revenue function
The challenge
Building the team behind Interlink's next phase of commercial growth.
Interlink had built a strong B2B lead generation business through technology, client results and an established base of major customers.
As the business continued to grow, its commercial strategy was evolving.
Historically, much of Interlink's growth had come through existing clients, referrals and inbound demand.
The next stage required a more deliberate approach to client acquisition and account expansion.
That created hiring requirements across several parts of the GTM organisation.
Interlink needed leadership capable of shaping the sales function, Revenue Operations expertise to support the commercial infrastructure, Account Executives who could drive new business and Client Partners capable of developing strategic customer relationships.
But experience alone was not enough.
Interlink wanted people who could perform without relying on the weight of a major brand behind them.
The successful hires needed to be resilient, coachable, commercially creative and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where processes and products were continuously evolving.
Our approach
Recruiting for commercial capability rather than logos on a CV.
TalentStack worked closely with Interlink's People and commercial leadership teams across each search, continually refining the profile around what actually drove performance inside the business.
Rather than restricting searches to candidates from one specific industry, TalentStack mapped talent across SaaS, B2B technology, advertising, demand generation and adjacent commercial markets.
The focus was on evidence.
Could the candidate create pipeline?
Could they sell in a difficult market?
Could they operate without a globally recognised brand opening doors for them?
Could they absorb coaching and implement feedback?
Could they bring solutions rather than simply identify problems?
That approach allowed TalentStack to look beyond conventional job-title matching and identify candidates with the underlying behaviours Interlink valued.
The partnership covered several levels of the GTM organisation.

As the relationship developed, TalentStack continued supporting Interlink across further sales and client-facing requirements, including a Client Partner brief that ultimately resulted in two hires.
The results
Six hires across the revenue organisation.
Between January and May 2026, TalentStack made six successful placements into Interlink's GTM organisation.
The partnership resulted in:
- 6 GTM hires
- VP Sales placed
- Revenue Operations Specialist placed
- 2 Account Executives placed
- 2 Client Partners placed
- 4 different GTM functions strengthened
- VP Sales search completed in 13 days
- One Client Partner search resulting in two hires
- Ongoing partnership across multiple hiring managers and commercial functions
The breadth of the hires is what makes the partnership significant.
TalentStack was not engaged to repeatedly fill one type of sales vacancy.
The team supported Interlink from the commercial infrastructure behind the sales organisation through to leadership, new business and strategic client management.
That required understanding not only who had the right experience, but what type of salesperson would actually succeed inside Interlink's culture.
For later sales searches, the emphasis increasingly centred around resilience, coachability, creativity and the ability to combine a proven sales playbook with individual initiative.
The result was a recruitment partnership capable of adapting as Interlink's commercial organisation evolved.
